Jeremiah Fasl is a PhD Candidate at the University of Texas at Austin. He received a MSE and BSCE from the University of Texas at Austin. His research is focused on improving monitoring and inspection practices for fracture-critical bridges.

With over 28 years of IT experience, Mike has consulted for many companies on BI, complex event processing (CEP), performance management, enterprise architecture and data governance. He has spoken all over the world and written numerous articles. Mike is a resident expert on the Business-Intelligence-Network, providing insights on the industry. Formerly he was co-founder of Codd and Date Europe – the inventors of the Relational Model, a Chief Architect at Teradata and European CEO of Database Associates.

Ken Foust

Ken Foust received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Alfred University. Before joining Kionix, he was a Product Engineer for IBM Microelectronics (Essex Junction, VT) where he coordinated the fabrication of advanced custom and foundry CMOS microprocessors. At Kionix, Mr. Foust is a senior applications engineer and manages the Company’s customer technical support department. He works closely with customers in developing and integrating the sensor solutions that will enable the next generation of motion-enabled consumer products.

Roy Freeland

Roy Freeland is President of Perpetuum Ltd and Co-Chair of the ISA100.18 Power Sources Standards Working Group. In 2004 he started Perpetuum which is now the world’s leading manufacturer of Vibration Energy Harvesters which are used to power Wireless Sensors. Roy is a Cambridge graduate engineer and has lived in USA, UK, France Sweden and Canada. After starting Meggitt Electronics, he ran six high technology business sectors at Spirent Plc. He was CEO at United Industries Plc, a UK listed Company.

Mark Froggatt

Dr. Froggatt has been our Chief Technology Officer since September 2005. Prior to joining us, Dr. Froggatt co-founded Luna Technologies in the Fall of 2000 to develop instrumentation for fiber optic devices and served as Chief Technology Officer until our acquisition of Luna Technologies in September 2005. Dr. Froggatt is a leading expert in the field of interferometric measurement and is the primary inventor of the technology used in the Luna-branded product platforms of the Optical Vector Analyzer and Optical Backscatter Reflectometer. Before joining Luna Technologies, Dr. Froggatt worked at NASA Langley developing ultrasonic and optical instrumentation. He received a bachelor's and master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech and a doctoral degree from the Institute of Optics, University of Rochester. Dr. Froggatt has 15 issued patents in ultrasound and optics.
