EH5: Energy Harvesting and ULP Systems for IoT Sensor Nodes

In this session, Farrington and Sanchez will present their advanced thinking in Ultra Low Power system design along with the latest ultra-low power system methodologies. They will describe techniques to enable autonomous sensor nodes for IoT applications operating at improved levels of performance.  Specific IoT applications for autonomously powered systems will also be discussed.

Michelle Farrington is responsible for the Energy Harvesting strategy at Analog Devices, focusing on providing system level power solutions for IoT and wearable sensors.  Prior to her work in Energy Harvesting, Michelle held various roles in manufacturing as well as new product and technology development in MEMS Inertial Sensors.  She has a BSEE and an MBA from Northeastern University and an MSEE from the University of Virginia.
