Questex forced to postpone Sensors Converge to September 2021 due to COVID-19 restrictions in California
Questex, the parent company of Sensors Converge, today announces the event has unavoidably been rescheduled due to the COVID-19 restrictions in California. Originally scheduled to run June 22-24, 2021, the Sensors Converge event is now scheduled to take place September 21-23, 2021 at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, CA.
The current ongoing crisis and restrictions in California, forced postponement of the 2021 event to a later date in September to ensure we have the ability to host a live, safe, and successful program. After multiple meetings with the Convention Center team, it became evident that the capped restrictions at the venue until June 15, 2021 made it impossible for all of our exhibitors, sponsors, speakers and attendees to safely plan for Sensors Converge 2021 which was due to start a few days later.
For over 35 years, Sensors Expo & Conference has established itself as the engineering community dedicated to sensors, connectivity, and IoT. Over the years, the event has expanded and diversified to include the electronics technologies and embedded systems that work hand-in-hand with sensors, as well as new and emerging application areas such as IoT, Connectivity, Autonomous Vehicles, and more. This convergence has led to a focus on the challenges and opportunities in product design, showcasing a community of design engineers with real-world experience sharing their best practices, strategies for success and the technologies used to make it all happen.
Our aim is to safely reunite the sensors and electronics community at Sensors Converge – where design innovation meets tech innovation –- in September this year. We look forward to working with you and the industry to make the event a tremendous success on its new dates in September. This will be a live experience where the design engineering community can come together safely, to network, share ideas, discover technologies, and define the future roadmap for the sensors and electronics industry. From sensors and chips to the cloud, Sensors Converge will cover the technologies and applications driving innovation today.
